Good luck! Ubuntu is quite easy to use and has a very helpful user forum (ubuntuforum.org) if you get stuck. I’ve recently set my Mother-in-law up on a new PC with the previous version.

I take it you got the new 9.10 version? I’m just testing it myself, if it works out I’ll upgrade my mother-in-laws PC to it from the previous version. So far it looks VERY good.
