Where does sleeping in your car at lunch rank?
(And to this end, is sleeping in the conference room more or less inappropriate?)
Oh good grief. I do it at least once a week. It’s not always sleeping, though. Sometimes it’s just a deep meditative doze.
Goodness me! Where to start…. I often forego a lunch hour, when I get one, to lock the doors, recline, classic fm it up and kick back for twenty minutes. Supermarket car parks are dodgy as you often wake up drooling (not joking) with your mouth open while some family are loading up their car right next to you. Also, I once pulled over on the hard shoulder of the M25, sunglasses on, map on steering wheel, (pretending I was lost, good scam no if I got pulled?…cept youre on a motorway?) and fell asleep, purely because I would have dozed at the wheel I was so tired. Not a good look. Mind you, neither is being scraped up off the motorway to be honest.
I’ve fallen asleep on the motorway before and I dont mean on the hard shoulder either.
Scaryiest thing ever, thank god for the rumble strips on the edge……
