Spotify Free vs. Spotify Open
If you currently have a Spotify Open account and know someone who has a premium account, I suggest you ask them to send you an invite from their account. Once you get it, set up a new Spotify Free account following the instructions in the email, you may need to use a different email address to the one attached to your Spotify Open account.
Why you ask? because it there are no restrictions on streaming as there is on the current Spotify Open account. Why else are people still selling invites on ebay for £5 a pop?
